The Best Albums Ever

The results are in from Andy, Arthur, Ben, Geraint, John, Lorna, Paddy, Paul, Peter, Rob, Roo, Tony and me. Thank you everybody. It’s official – the best album of all time is “Pour Down Like Silver” by Richard And Linda Thompson. Three votes was enough to secure top spot.

13 different people. 76 different albums. What a great variety of musical appreciation my friends have. I shall certainly explore some of these albums. I’ve already re acquainted myself with “Automatic For The People”, “The Lonesome Picker Rides Again” and “Atom Heart Mother” and I feel I should do the same with “Prairie Wind”. I’ve sent off for an Alan Stivell CD, I’ve listened to “Physical Graffiti” quite a bit today and I’m currently listening to “First Of A Million Kisses”. I’m looking forward to getting down with the kids by listening to “Floorshakers”, I’ve realised that most of Kathleen Edwards’ albums are worth listening to and I need to try “Folklore” again. I tried “The Holding Breath Remixes”, but had to switch it off.
